A long overdue picture update!

A long overdue picture update!

I have been traveling a great deal this summer. Because of that, I have not been home enough to order many critters, or to photograph them. I am home this entire month, and am working on getting updates on a lot of the fish and invertebrates in the fish room. There are several species right now that are on super sale, which can be found on my current stocklist. I have a bunch of new stuff to add to my stocklist, and endeavor to have that done...

Just a few more pictures from this week’s shipment. Reminder- out of town, so limited shipping in Summer months

Just a few more pictures from this week’s shipment. Reminder- out of town, so limited shipping in Summer months

Just snapped a few quick shots of some of the new critters around the fish room. So far, everything is looking great! Pricing should be available by the end of the weekend. Just remember, next week is the last week of shipping for a couple weeks as I will be traveling to Florida. Shipping will be sporadic over the summer since I am doing so many speaking engagements. As always, in person pick-ups are always welcome by appointment!    ...

Heading to Connecticut this week! Pre-orders being taken through Wednesday evening

These pictures were taken within a day or two of them being added to the tank, and you can already see some of the range of colors they will eventually show. I am getting ready to head to the NEC Convention in Cromwell, CT. I will be leaving Thursday and home Sunday night. I am now taking...

Tiger shrimp and amanos are back in stock!

I have been working on slowly building my stock list back up to where it needs to be. Thanks again for all the support with the Intuit Small Business Wish contest! I have over 800 votes and remain hopeful that I will be a recipient of one of their generous awards! Ready to go from the newest influx of livestock are Amano shrimp and Tiger shrimp. The amanos are around one inch and ready to go to their forever homes! I have a mix of juvenile and...

Back in action! A few photos!

Back in action! A few photos!

It has been longer than I would like since I updated the website last. I do apologize! Between the stressors of Super Storm Sandy (luckily we were largely unaffected), the cold snap that followed, multiple fish related travels, and club meetings- I have been SWAMPED! Things have settled down, and I am ordering again. You may have noticed my stock list was a little slim. I am doing much to remedy this! First up, a new order from Peru. The first...

The remote flash survived its underwater adventure- more pics!

The remote flash survived its underwater adventure- more pics!

As some of you may know, I dropped my remote flash into a tank (for the second time) a week or two ago. These are pricey pieces of equipment which are, unfortunately, vital for me to be able to get pictures of my critters. As soon as it happened, I quickly popped the batteries out and took a hairdryer on low heat to it. After it appeared dry, I put it into a bag of dry rice for a week. When I attempted to turn it on, all the electronics worked,...
