The Peru order has arrived! Some things I expected, and some surprises!
Many of you know that I have been waiting, not so patiently, for an order to arrive from Peru for a few months now. At long last, it has arrived! There are a TON of fish, many of which are completely new to me, and I am still figuring out the identification of a few. I have gotten restock of Otocinclus cocama, though not many, and also have Hypoptopoma sp. Peru orange again (the orange zebra). I am also SUPER pleased by a tiny little Parotocinclus I was able to get, sp. 3, which is really tiny and adorable! I also got a few species of Pyrrhulina, which I have never kept before as well as a couple of species of Centromochlus, including the much sought after purple variant. I have a lot of pictures below, most from the Peru order but also a few from a SE Asian order that I did to restock my nerites, celestial pearl danios, and a few other things. I will be working on species profiles for the new additions, as well as hopefully some informative posts on the ones that are new to me. Barring complications, these species will be listed next week to go to their forever homes. I will be working in the fish room more this week, taking pictures to update on all my species. I will be traveling this weekend, so if you email me after Friday, the response may be delayed. I hope you enjoy the pictures! I know I am enjoying all these new fish!!
